Detailed Itinerary:
Tour from North to South Vietnam 8 Days
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (D)
Arrival Hanoi. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, Ancient quarters of Hanoi. Trip to Halong, 170 km from Hanoi on east. Dinner and overnight in Halong.
Day 3: Halong - Hanoi (B/L)
Breakfast. Cruise to discover Halong Bay. Lunch on board. Return to Hanoi. Dinner. Overnight in Hanoi. Includes: (L).
Day 4: Hanoi - Hue (B/L)
Free for shopping or at leisure. Take a flight to Hue. Arrival in Hue. Check in hotel. Free at leisure.
Day 5: Hue - Sightseeing tour (B/L)
From the center of Hue, we board a dragon boat and travel on the scenic Huong River (Perfume River) to Thien Mu Pagoda (built in 1601 by King Nguyen Hoang), followed by a visit to the impressive tomb of King Minh Mang. The afternoon is spent exploring the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, where the Nguyen Kings settled and ruled Vietnam. The great value of this ancient landmark is the royal architectural complex, which has Saigon, we stop at the fascinating Dong Ba Market, where we can experience the bustle of daily life in been officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Day 6: Hue - Saigon (B/L)
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Saigon. Take a half-day city tour: Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Former US Embassy, City Hall, War Museum of remnants. Shopping at Ben Thanh market.
Day 7: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
Depart to Tay Ninh, the headquarters of one of Vietnam's most interesting indigenous religions Caodaism. Enjoy in a noon ceremony in the Cao Dai Cathedral – center of religion. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to visit Cu Chi maze underground tunnels (over 200 km long) and watching a documentary film, making self discovery into tunnels. Back to Saigon.
Day 8: Depart Saigon (B)
After breakfast, the time before departure is on your own, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
